Former NFL offensive lineman Chris Hinton is selling his massive home in Johns Creek, GA, for $2.2 million.
Built in 2005, the brick mansion measures in at just under 12,000 square feet, with six bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.
Surrounded by trees, the 3.6-acre property is extremely private, and backs onto Chattahoochee National Park, only a short walk to the Chattahoochee River. It sits in a gated community with seven other luxury homes.
Upon entering, you’re greeted by a grand foyer, which opens onto a bright and open floor plan. High ceilings reinforce the spacious and airy feeling of the living spaces, and the residence’s six fireplaces help create a cozy vibe.
The gleaming white chef’s kitchen was recently updated and comes complete with marble countertops, a huge island, two sinks, and a large gas stove top. There’s also a separate pantry area for additional storage.
The terrace level of the multilevel dwelling is fully finished and complete with high ceilings. It overlooks the heated pool, outdoor fireplace, and the national park.
For storage of high-end automobiles, there’s a gated motor court with a three-car garage.
The former All-Pro hasn’t had a buyer step up to take the home off his hands—yet. The mansion went on the market in July 2019, and the price remains the same. Hinton purchased the home in September 2008 for $1.95 million.
Hinton, 58, starred along the offensive line in the NFL for 13 seasons, most notably with the Indianapolis Colts. He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and was inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor in 2001. He currently owns and operates a wine store and tasting room in Alpharetta, GA.
The home is listed with Paul Wegener, with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty.
